The Puppy Lab | July 16 - August 6
$30 Drop-In, $100 Full Course
​
Congratulations on your new puppy! This course is designed to help you and your puppy lay the foundation for future obedience, recognize what healthy play between dogs looks like, and begin the important work of socialization for long-term behavioral health. We'll also cover essential puppy-rearing tips and tricks to ensure your pup is set up for a lifetime of success.
​
Each week, class will be divided into three 15-minute sections:
Warm Up: Settling in, calming down, & cultivating attention to handler
Skill Development: Develop sit, down, loose leash walking, etc.
Playtime: Party with friends!

Please bring:

4-6 foot leash (no retractable leashes, please!)

Requirements:

Dog must be 6 months of age or younger

Dog must be current on vaccinations

If your puppy displays reactivity or moderate to severe fear during classes, we will transition you to private lessons to better support your puppy’s learning and skill development.

Our private dog training lessons are tailored to address your dog’s unique challenges and help them develop the skills they need to succeed.

Daycation Training Program | $1,500
Give your dog the best of both worlds—training and fun! Our Daycation program includes:

3-4 training sessions throughout the day

Regular daycare with playtime, socialization, and fun activities

2 drop-offs per week for 4 weeks (Thursdays & Fridays)

1 in-home lesson on Saturdays to transfer your dog’s new skills

Detailed progress videos and notes to keep you updated on your dog’s journey

Half-Week Board & Train | $645
This is the perfect solution for dogs who need a quick refresher or targeted training on a specific skill. Available Thursdays through Saturdays, our Half-Week Board & Train program includes:

A great option for dogs who need a quick refresher on one specific skill—whether it’s recall, mat work, sit/down, or loose leash walking.

1 on-site lesson at pick-up to transfer skills

Detailed videos/notes of your dog’s progress

Basic care, playtime, and training with staff and other dogs (if appropriate)

Important Notes
Please be aware that our training facility may not be suitable for dogs with severe aggression, reactivity, or significant fear/anxiety due to the high-energy and stimulating environment. For these dogs, we recommend reaching out to Jennifer Shearer, CPDT-KA, our lead trainer, at jen@blackdogbt.com to inquire about in-home training services for more specialized support.
