The Facility

Here at Farmhouse Pet Lodge, there is nothing more important to us than the health and well-being of your loved ones that are spending time with us. For this reason, we have gone above and beyond in the designing of the facility to ensure that you and your pets can rest easy while they are in our care.

 

We have installed cutting edge UV disinfection technology in all deluxe and luxury suite areas. Aerapy Animal Health’s UV achieves greater than 99.9% kill rate against tested viral and bacterial pathogens including Bordetella bronchiseptica (kennel cough), canine influenza, distemper, parvovirus, feline calicivirus, and more. Additionally, we've chosen to install a fully automated centrally located Wet/Dry cleaning system with vacuum suction, fresh water and proportioned disinfectant always available on demand. The floors and suites are left virtually dry and ready to walk across or occupy. The machines automatically drain themselves and all motors are exhausted outdoors. With extraction and low-pressure fresh water and disinfectant spray, ALL soils and contaminants are automatically sent down the drain or exit through the exhaust lines to the outside. This greatly improves indoor air environment and reduces indoor moisture. This means no spreading of dirty mop bucket water and no bacteria collecting, odor causing floor drains. In conjunction with the previously mentioned state-of-the-art features, we have opted to install customized 100% solid surface doors on all of our suites. The bottom half is solid and decorative with the logo design, the top half is tempered glass as shown in the photo. This allows our staff of dedicated caretakers maximum visibility to our furry friends but prevents excessive visual stimulation for the pets. This has been proven to decrease noise, stress and illness.
